I was a Catering Coordinator for Panera Bread back in 2009. I don't work for them anymore, but I would go back and assist in their sponsorship of the Susan G. Koman 5k Walk in Balboa Park to display at their sample booth.

San Diego Botanical Gardens Gala
Every year in September the San Diego Botanical Gardens in Encinitas hold a fund raiser. The internationally acclaimed florist, Rene Van Rims, helps coordinate a team of volunteers that create centerpieces for the reception and whimsical arrangements to fill to the garden that are sold to raise money. I have found that volunteering is a great way to build your skill set and meet some really great people in the industry. The pictures below are from the 2012 gala.
